A small but active Parents and Citizens Association support the school. Parents are also involved in the school in a variety of activities - Canteen helpers, Library Assistants, Learning Support helpers, Sports coaches, STEMM volunteers and many onlookers and supporters of a variety of Cultural activities.
The P&C Association aims to support the education and well-being of students at Burnside State High School, endeavouring to provide avenues through which parents and the community can work as part of a team to provide extra resources and facilities.
The P&C Association has been involved in streamlining uniform ordering, tuckshop staffing and needs, bursary support, displays and open nights and refurbishment of the canteen to industry standards. The P&C meet in the main admin block every 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5.30pm.
