Marine Science Program
Burnside State High School Marine Science Program is a favourite for our International students. The teachers here are not only passionate educators but they are experts in their respective fields. Our aim is to give students an amazing experience by providing exposure to each of the unique marine ecosystems that makes Queensland such a diverse and iconic place. We combine the theoretical aspects of the course with hands-on laboratory experiences and field work techniques. From the windswept rocky shores of the Sunshine Coast to the mangroves, seagrass and coral reefs of The Great Barrier Reef.
