Burnside State High School is proud to offer the "Bush Beach Experience" which focuses on three key areas: Aussie experiences, global competencies, and team building.
Each semester students participate in a wide variety of activities including:
* Rainforest Immersion Excursions to Mary Cairn Cross and Kondalilla National Parks
* Learn to Surf Program Maroochydore Beach
* Aussie Life Saver Experience Alexandra Headlands Beach
* Australia Zoo excursion
* Bird watching/identification and climbing Glasshouse Mountains
* Local Aussie Environmental and Biodiversity Projects
* Beach picnic and bush BBQs
Please note this program does not attract any additional costs for our students. They are however weather dependant and require a minimum number of students to proceed.
